The memecoin market, after experiencing a period of significant declines, appears to be gearing up for a triumphant comeback.
Altcoin Sherpa, a cryptocurrency analyst and trader on the social network X, has been posting promising predictions for the memecoins Pepe (PEPE) and Bonk (BONK). He suggests that while a recovery is imminent, certain long-standing meme tokens are likely to lead the way in this upward trend.
Among the highlights for investors, the Bonk token (BONK), which operates on the Solana (SOL) blockchain, emerges as one of Sherpa’s main bets.
“Most memes have been destroyed overall, but I think they will eventually come back to some degree. Memes, by nature, are driven by attention, but I think some of the more ‘Lindy’ ones will have a better chance,” he said. Bonk is currently quoted at US$ 0,00001354, up 8% in the last 24 hours.
The trader also pointed to the Ethereum (ETH)-based Pepe token (PEPE) as a potential opportunity.
“It looks like PEPE is also close to a bottom. PEPE is obviously a beta version of ETH, but it’s also a good option if BTC starts to go crazy, in my opinion,” he explained.
According to its chart analysis, PEPE is expected to reach a value of $0,000015 or experience a drop to $0,000001 by 2025.
At the moment, PEPE is trading at $0,000007.
