What is the projection for the price of Bitcoin in the years 2025-2033? Analysts from Bernstein, a well-known investment firm, have released a report with bold predictions for Bitcoin’s price until 2033. Bernstein has initiated coverage of MicroStrategy shares, a major player in the market.
As per the forecast by Bernstein analysts Gautam Chhugani and Mahika Sapra, Bitcoin’s price is anticipated to hit $1 million by 2033. Additionally, they have suggested that the leading cryptocurrency could reach an impressive $200,000 by 2025.
“We have calculated the long-term market premium based on a probability-weighted scenario using our Bitcoin price model for 2029/2033. Our base case scenario suggests that Bitcoin would be valued at $200,000 by 2025, $500,000 by 2029, and $1 million by 2033.”
The surge in price is attributed to the expected significant demand driven by spot Bitcoin-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Analysts predict that the assets under management for these products could rise to around $190 billion, up from the current $60 billion.
“We believe that US regulated ETFs have been a game-changer for crypto, attracting structural demand from traditional sources of capital,” the analysts highlighted. They estimate that the net new flows from these ETFs have already generated approximately $15 billion. By 2025, Bitcoin ETFs are projected to hold about 7% of the circulating Bitcoin, increasing to 15% by 2033.
At the time of writing, the price of Bitcoin stood at $67,043.63, with a 1.1% increase in the last 24 hours.
