Over the past week, Bitcoin has been consistently setting new price records, with the latest one being registered just a few hours ago.
Bitcoin enthusiasts have a reason to celebrate as the cryptocurrency has reached an impressive new peak of $82,379.60, its highest price ever. In the past two months, the cryptocurrency market has experienced a significant increase in its capitalization, surpassing $800 billion, indicating a bull market. The current market capitalization of the cryptocurrency market is $2.93 trillion.
At the time of publication, the price of Bitcoin was quoted at US$82,250.84, with a 2.9% increase in the last 24 hours. This is equivalent to approximately R$475,580.15 BRL and €77,019.19 EUR. In the past week, the price of Bitcoin has grown by 19.8%.
Market analyst Ali Martinez observed the recent significant moves in the cryptocurrency market, with $3.28 billion being withdrawn from exchanges last week during Bitcoin’s bullish rally. This has led to renewed confidence in the sector. Similarly, most major cryptocurrencies have seen significant price gains in the last 24 hours. Ethereum is trading at $3,191.33 with a 0.4% drop, XRP is trading at $0.5862 with a 0.2% increase, Cardano is trading at $0.592 with a 1.9% rise, and Solana is up 4.6% and trading at $216.36.
Memecoins, such as Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and dogwifhat (WIF), have also experienced interesting price rallies. Dogecoin is up 21.7% in the last 24 hours, while Shiba Inu and dogwifhat are up 12.3% and 20.8% respectively.
